What Happens in a Breathwork Session

Sessions are held in the sacred and nurturing space of Possum Cottage Body and Breathwork.

Joanne allows 2-3 hours for you to get in touch with who you are and where you want to go.

A series of sessions is recommended in the beginning to allow the breath and body to heal.

Sessions are divided into 3 parts

  1. Setting an Intention
  2. Breathing full conscious and connected
  3. Debrief
  1. An Intention is a positive statement with a time frame of what is not happening in your life that you would like to be happening. Setting an intention activates your body cell memory.

    Basically whatever in your subconscious that is in the way of your intention will come up in the session.
  2. You lie down and breathe Full Conscious Connected Breath so you are in the present and not operating from past beliefs.

    The breathing cycle takes from 45 minutes to 90 minutes.
    Clearing occurs on the
    physical level (as tingling, itching, pain, hot etc),
    emotional level (as feelings),
    mental level (as thoughts, pictures) or
    spiritual level (feeling connected, expanded or at peace)

     
  3. The session is debriefed for clarity.

    Sharing what happened in your session assists you to understand how the session relates to your intention and your life.
